Who is Merque.com?

Merque.com is mainly devoted to promoting high-quality handcrafts made, as the name implies, by hand by our local artisans. The area we are currently sourcing handcrafts from spans some 250Km (140 miles) around Queretaro, Capital of the state with the same name. The city of Queretaro is located about two and a half hours north of Mexico city, in the central region of Mexico. Some of the primary locations from which we obtain our products include Dolores Hidalgo, San Miguel de Allende, Tequisquiapan and San Luis Potosí.

The general public is always welcome to visit us at our offices in Queretaro, Mexico. We are located at:

Our office hours are from Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 19:00, CST. While there is almost always someone in the office, we take lunch from 14:00 to 16:00. Please note that this year, daylight savings time in Mexico will begin on May 6. (FYI: These are fairly typical Mexican business hours, though many work Saturday until 13:00 as well.)
